Assumption of the dissertation being prepared by me is describing a method of creating a character based on documentary sources, with reference to the already created and widely used techniques of Konstantin Stanislavski, Sanford Meisner, Uta Hagen and David Mamet, as well as theatrical and cinematic roles on which I worked on using those methods during the years 2014-2020. Among them are:

Charlotte Corday, spectacle "Marat/Sade" directed by Rudolf Ziolo (W. Boguslawski's theatre in Kalisz),

Vicky O'Tarky, spectacle "Cansas" directed by Marcin Wierzchowski (W. Horzyca's theatre in Torun),

Bronislawa Borowska, documentary movie "Beyond suspicion" directed by Marzena Kumosinska (TVP History),

Europe, show "Death of the itinerant trader. Monologue for Europe" directed by Jacek Orlowski (K. Dejmka's New Theatre in Lodz)

In the PhD dissertation I work on I want to investigate whether and how in acting you can go beyond the known ways of thinking and images by observing, listening and learning from life, as well as to which existing methods to create a character you can reach out while working on it.

I work with people who are active in the theatre and film space. Our meetings together have resulted in indexes at acting faculties, admissions to agencies, casting wins and awards

the programme includes: text selection | analysis and interpretation of scenes and monologues | work on a role | basic acting and scene tasks | improvisations | working with camera

if you are interested in developing your acting skills, I will adapt appropriate working techniques to the purpose of our meetings. I do not limit myself to one method of working with an actor, however, I am mainly inspired by and use the work of D. Mamet, U. Hagen and J. Weston and K. Stanisławski

Dominika, despite the fact that she is an active actress, which I think is very important in choosing someone to help prepare for drama schools, she additionally continues to educate herself. You can see that teaching others gives her a lot of joy, and this translates into the quality of the classes she offers. Dominika is very professional. She will help with the choice of repertoire, but also does not impose anything. She listens attentively and catches the smallest mistakes, which we are often unable to hear ourselves.
